Core Powder and Matte Technology
Powder Particle Size Control: High-quality products precisely control powder diameters within the 3–8 micron range. Utilizing micron-level ultra-fine grinding processes, the powder achieves a fineness score of 99.2 and a visual pore-concealing rate of 97.5%, delivering a natural, soft-focus matte finish without a heavy, mask-like appearance.
Matte Optical Performance: In accordance with the ASTM D523-14 standard, the reflectance of incident light at a 60° angle must fall within the typical matte range of 10–30 GU. Matte purity should be ≥95% (with premium products reaching 98.2%), and the oiliness rate ≤3%, ensuring no localized oily sheen or reflection occurs during prolonged wear.
Matte Ingredient Sophistication: The ingredient list must include at least three specialized matte-functional ingredients, such as spherical silica or polymethylsilsesquioxane. Products relying solely on mica or iron oxides for a visual soft-focus effect are considered "pseudo-matte" and possess very low technical sophistication.
Long-wear Film-forming Technology
Film-forming System Configuration: Products employing a dual-phase silicone polymer film-forming system demonstrate superior technical sophistication. They can form a three-dimensional, mesh-like, waterproof yet breathable film within 38 seconds, achieving an abrasion resistance coefficient of 98.8% and a makeup transfer rate of only 0.23% after 10 hours of continuous mask friction.
Long-wear Performance Data: Premium products maintain ≥95% makeup integrity and ≥95% oil control over 24 hours. The finish remains intact for 8 hours in high-temperature environments (38°C), with a patchiness/breakdown rate of ≤5%-far outperforming ordinary products that tend to become oily or wear off within 2–3 hours.
Film Breathability: Third-party oxygen permeability tests require a breathability coefficient of ≥99%. With a film thickness controlled between 0.015 and 0.025 millimeters, the structure forms a porous layer that does not clog pores, effectively resolving the common issues of skin suffocation and acne breakouts often associated with matte foundations.
